On The Ground

Immersion trips provide our volunteers an opportunity to learn about the daily living reality of the people in Honduras and understand the root causes of poverty, malnourished and lack of education. Groups spend 10-14 days working side by side with the local population in the areas of agriculture, education, nutrition and healthcare.  Relationships develop that is based in compassion, concern and genuine caring for those we regularly visit.  Our volunteers often describe their time in Honduras and a life changing event.
If you are interested in an immersion experience or would like more information, we want to talk to you.

Project Eden, Inc. is a small company that was started in 2002 to address the need for education and better nutrition in the rural Honduran population.
After 10 years, gardens are producing crops, trees are bearing fruit, and students are attending Universities.

But we can do more.
Other large "World Hunger" organizations don't operate here. There is no other help. In the San Francisco de La Paz area, there are still malnourished children, iliterate parents, and families that don't know where the next meal will come from.

We invite you to join the movement to help fight malnutrition and to educate the rural communities of Honduras.

We have a strong, dedicated team of volunteers who can answer your questions, many of whom have been to Honduras several times.  Volunteers are the eyes and ears of the Honduran community and without their support, the movement will be lost.

Making a donation provides the necessary funding to operate all of our programs.  From planting a garden to tutoring a student, your tax-deductible donation helps keep us moving forward.

Please make a donation.
Your gift will help support the movement to feed a family, feed a village, or help to educate a child and change their life forever.
