Project Eden/Adelante Immersion Trips

Project Eden/Adelante Mission Trips

Under Construction

DUE TO COVID-19, IMMERSION TRIPS ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED. WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING MISSION TRIPS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN THE FUTURE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING.

Immersion trips provide our volunteers an opportunity to learn about the daily reality of the people in Honduras and understand the root causes of poverty, . Groups spend 10-14 days working side-by-side with the Project Eden Team and the local population. Examples of activities include, but are not limited to:

  • creating a new garden or helping prepare existing gardens for a new season;
  • harvesting produce from the Project Eden central garden;
  • meeting with students in the Adelante education program, including helping with tutoring sessions;
  • sharing meals and recreational time with local families and communities; and
  • delivering medical and/or school supplies to remote villages.

Because we have supported a team of local staff members in San Francisco de la Paz for more than 15 years, Project Eden has earned the respect and support of people throughout the region. During this time, relationships and friendships have developed with those we regularly visit, and they open their hearts and homes to all Project Eden/Adelante visitors. Our volunteers often describe their time in Honduras as a life changing event.
